Currently known problems

This page lists an up to date list of problems with the latest version of COPASI. Note that this list does not contain trivial issues, such as small user-interface bugs that do not affect operation (but you can check them here). All bugs are expected to be fixed, except those marked otherwise.

This list relates to COPASI 4.6 (Build 32)
  • The Genetic Algorithm optimization method fails to run on the front-end (CopasiUI); the command line version (CopasiSE) however runs the algorithm without problems.
  • Some older COPASI files cannot be read because they use names that have now become restricted words (for function names, special constants, etc.). These names are:
    • pi (it is now reserved to describe the geometric constant)
  • COPASI does not run on MS Windows™ 95 (it does run on Win98 and above, though). This will not be fixed.
